hamster has a red bump on/in his back

hello, i noticed this quite recently and i am not sure what it might be. i don't think there is anything sharp in his cage, there is no blood and he seems to be normal. we've had him for a year.

Hi. It looks like a little red warty thing. It will need a vet to look at it. They can check if it's a pus filled abscess or something else. They might try medication first to see if it shrinks away or they might decide to remove it. These things are best checked though or it could get bigger and be harder to treat.
