I can recommend the Tapo C200 indoor security camera. It has a plug so is not wireless, but the cable is quite long and it can be mounted on a plate with screws. It will allow you to watch your hammy on your mobile phone over the WiFi without a subscription, but if you pay for one, you can record and store footage to watch later. It can record footage on a memory card without a subscription. The footage is clear and the camera can be moved about to focus more closely and to move from side to side. It is about £21.00 at Argos and seems quite convenient and functional ❤️

That sounds good :-) It's a good price as well. We have the Eufy one. Sounds like it works the same. Has a micro usb card in it so it records constantly and you can watch live on your phone from wherever you are, or watch early playback recordings. All connected to wifi. For playback it has orange bars showing when there was any movement (ie detecting hamster movement) so it's easy to scan through a night's footage without having to watch all of it to see when the hamster came out. It has much better picture quality than my last one which was a different brand - and comes with an attachment you can screw to something, but we haven't used that bit and just sit it on something.

Eufy

Do you have a link to the Tapo one Socks Mum? :-)

That looks really good :-) If mine ever conks out I might try that one next time :-) It's a good price.

I like that you can watch it and record on the card without having to take out a subscription if you want to, but there is the option of a subscription if you need one 👍
