Hamster's Eye is (swollen?) shut

I'm glad the antibiotics are working and Olivia's eye is improving.

When i took my Syrian to the vet with an eye problem they put drops of dye in his eye then checked the eye under a lamp, uv i guess. They told me that he didn't have any tumors so maybe that was a tumor test.

It didn't cost anywhere near what you paid though.

yeah thats the same thing that they did for my hamster. How much did it cost you? if you dontmind me asking

It was £49 for examination and test then another £14 for the antibiotic ointment. Around 80 US dollars in total.

I go to a general vet who has very good hamster knowledge. The vets at the big exotics hospital charge nearly three times as much.
