Can't believe it's his birthday already

I know, the time has flown! Got him some dried flowers, flax sprays, and extra seeds to celebrate. I know he will love a flax hunt before I go

Part fun, part business. Henry was already looking for me, peeking over the log a good deal.



I lucked out with my room, not a bad view. Everyone's saying a movie called Forgetting Sarah Marshall was filmed here, I never saw it.

Looks like a lovely holiday destination. Great that you can watch, and possibly talk to, Henry on the ham cam.

It looks fantastic - lovely view. Is it windy there? Looks like the palm trees are blowing. Henry looks as cute as ever.

It's been unusually windy today, the locals are saying it's never this bad. Got plenty of sun in until now thankfully.

Henry responded immediately to our conversation on the ham cam, I don't know if you can hear his reply but he squeaked back:

That's great I've wondered about doing that myself when away but could never work out the audio settings I couldn't hear the squeak but will watch/listen again with the volume on full ............

Henry seems to be pleased with the construction he began before I left. I have a feeling he will be napping under the log when I return.

The weather calmed down just enough for one of the fire dancers to give us a show at the end of the big company dinner. Not the original plan, but still pretty cool

Aw it was lovely seeing Henry disappear behind/under the cork log Very clever of him to have that construction. The fire dancer is amazing! It's good to have a break and change of scene and do fun things and these cameras are great for keeping an eye on our hammies. My pet sitter was very good about the fact there was a camera pointing at one of the cages Because of course it filmed her as well when she went to feed the hamsters.

I am going to spoil Henry as much as possible when I'm back in a day and a half.

He looks a bit mournful. Spoiling is definitely in order!

He does look like he’s looking and waiting. Did you have any more hamcam chat . He will be so pleased to see you!

No chat, but he has been very well behaved when my friend changes his food and water. He behaves as he does when I adjust his wheel, a little miffed and sits on the bridge or castle and watches.

Henry is tidying up the area around the food dish, he is ready for extra treats.

He indeed popped out of his new hole under the log and went to town on the extra treats. He seemed either a little unsure I was home, or gauging how mad he was I left. Once he came over it was all kisses & love, immediately demanded snuggles.
