Hi I have a hamster named snowy I live in the uk and it’s very hard to find good hamster care tips in the uk so any advice would be great

Also it’s snows birthday today my dwarf hamster she’s 1 today so wish her a happy birthday and my friends Russian dwarfs hamster birthday was yesterday and he was 1 also they have never met don’t worry

Hello and welcome Snowie sounds cute Do you have a photo. I think you mentioned in the welcome message that you had Kaytee clean and cozy on one side and were asking about something for the other side?

You can use Kaytee in the whole cage - I personally think it's better than Carefresh, which can be dusty. For alternative substrates some people have them in a dig box. Or you could mix two substrates.
