My mother sometimes says that I have too many things inside Topaç's cage and that it is too messy, but a lot of people posts I saw recommend clutter for hamster cages. Can a cage be too cluttered? I might be overthinking this because I'm bored 😅

Im also thinking of adding wooden bridges near the dig box so that it's easier for him to climb in.

It depends if it works for the hamster :-) I had one who got annoyed about things in the middle of the cage and would push them out of the way! He liked the space to run from one end to the other. A more shy hamster would like the clutter and dive into things along the way. Hamster cages invariably look messy! Hamsters like to mess things up. The photos you see of amazing looking set ups won't stay like that for long! If your hamster is happy it;s fine.

I see. He seems happy for now. He spent a lot of time in his new dig box today. I think he dug up all the food I hid in there.

Hi, I think the important thing is.. your hammy! It's what your hammy likes and you will know what topac likes. Hamster's don't like change so if you do take something out you will find topac will react if he liked it where it was, so what you change must be considered. I'm sure he loves his environment if it's been like it from day one. 🥰🥰💞💖 Ness
