History of Kasha: https://www.thehamsterforum.com/threads/showing-off-new-ham-no-one-wanted.3053/
Kasha is literally the best little hamster, I love her so much. She is the most adorable hammie I'd had. Absolutely precious and perfect. I do wish I could hold her and she was a bit more friendly but she's still got a good personality and doesn't hate life like my previous girl Doma. There's been no biting, just a bit shy.
She is a bit peculiar which is why I started this. She sleeps behind the wheel. When I first got her, she burrowed and used her multichamber hide and was absolutely thrilled with the deep bedding. Then she started to make a nest behind the wheel and hasn't moved since. There's a little 2 chamber hide on top of the multi chamber hide. She's been using it as a stash since I got her. Recently she started taking bedding and piling it inside. Now she's piling bedding all around the 2 chamber hide. Her second stash is her nest behind the wheel. I'm just puzzled why she would do this and not...burrow like a normal hamster. However, I've had a Syrian in the past (my boy Wetha) who NEVER burrowed. He lived in a critter trail or a 5 gallon tank for a year before I got him and I guess forgot how to be a hamster. Maybe Kasha is the same way. I don't know her history but I assume she lived in a tiny cage with her past negligent owners.
You might wonder where I get these names. They're all Yu-Gi-Oh! monsters!!! This baby is Kasha, my last girl was Doma the Angel of Silence, and my boy before that was Wetha. Wetha lived 3 yrs. My poor Doma only lasted 5 months after I got her from a chick on Craigslist. Kasha is about 8 months!
