Yes good point the Autumnal feel in the air could well be what it is.

I actually like getting up to go to the loo at night now cos I get to see (and chat to) him as I walk past his cage!

He is growing so fast and is still very very sweet and fluffy.

I have his hamster heaven play cage up in my room now (which involved a much needed bedroom tidy). I will start introducing him to it once I am back from visiting friends in Hampshire early in September.

If Blossom is on her wheel at night and I get up to go to the loo, I try and creep really quietly so she doesn’t hear me and stop…but she usually does hear me, and she stops running on her wheel 😂
 
Yippee. He made a brief appearance for a drink of water before hurrying back to bed.

Got some pics of him drinking and of his newly growing fluff xxx

Well since moving into his lovely omlet cage he has been getting up very late so not many pics until the other night when he suddenly appeared!

Rather blurry pics but had to act fast!

I have just bought some glue and some lolly sticks to make a proper fence around his new platform.

Such gorgeous fluffy coat tails :-) He is so sweet. He'll probably start coming out a bit more now he's adjusted - but some only come out when they feel like it :-)

He definitely only comes out when he feels like it. Usually when it is really dark and I am tired!
 
Have you thought of tempting him out earlier with a tube with a treat in? That used to tempt Charlie, our first hamster, out into the tube. Once out of the cage he loved his out of cage time :-)
 
Actually that is a really good idea. Arun used to literally jump into his taxi box once he realised that is meant play cage time.
 
After staying happily in his deep bedding all evening until the lights are out he suddenly appeared last night.

Excuse the mess, I usually sweep up in the mornings but I forgot that day!

He's so gorgeous! And love the fluffy butt photo :-) I hope we're going to see him in this month's photo comp!
 
After I had taken those pictures and switched off my phone ready to put the light out Kulfi went over to his ceramic vegetable dish ie where I had put his coriander, celery and cucumber and started to munch away. I was transfixed with delight as he stood on his hind legs holding coriander in his front paws and eating. I hardly dared breathe let alone move across the room, switch the phone back on and take pics.
