Very sad. You are such a good owner. Excellent that he is comfortable and enjoying his food. I hope you have some time left together 🙏
 
It is really nice having this community to talk about it with. My friends do sympathise but here many of you have gone through it and all of you are hamster lovers.
 
It's really good news that the steroids are helping him and relieving his symptoms and he's actually enjoying things :-) And yes we understand xxx
 
I'm so sorry for your little guy, I cried pretty bad too when my ham got his diagnosis and we were discussing end of life options. I'm glad you're able to enjoy these moments, have any special treats planned for him?

I think it’s more time than that ilguy - if the steroids slow progression and give relief.
 
Glad to hear you're getting a little uptick in positive behaviors from the medication, but sorry to hear about Kulfi's potential diagnosis. I've always had a soft spot for Kulfi because I felt like he was our past Cinnamon's doppelganger.
 
Oh no, just catching up with your news. Sorry to hear about your poorly hammy. Hopefully the steroids will give him good quality of life and extend his days with you.

Aw yes he and Cinnamon looked sooo alike!

He is still eating with immense enthusiasm but does seem to be a bit wobbly on his legs and is only coming out to eat. He gets porridge made with oats and some ground hemp seeds twice a day and I also add in a tiny bit of Rusty's lily's kitchen dog food. Kulfi ADORES that. He has a teeny bit of apple tonight and will be getting broccli tomorrow.
 
Kulfi died last night. He was right beside his bowl of food and had full pouches.

Yesterday he ate all of his porridge and dog food with great enthusiasm.

I will miss his gentle fluffy presence. Rip lovely Kulfi xxx
 
Oh I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. He was a truly lucky hamster to have had such good care and it sounds like he just passed gently away with his little full pouches, the best we could ask for. Hope you're ok.
 
Very sad to hear this update on little Kulfi 😔 Thank you for letting us know the sad news. It was very quick and peaceful and it is good that he was eating normally and so relatively comfortable right to the end, sweet little fellow. You must be very sad though. RIP little one, run free over the bridge 🌈
