Hi everyone!
My name is Lily and I am soooo happy to finally introduce Bubu - my 9-week-old male hybrid dwarf hamster! I picked him up around 2 weeks ago from a local breeder, and ever since then we have been getting to know eachother. He is very curious and gentle so I was able to tame him pretty fast, but we are still working some things out. I hope we will have a great time together c:
P.S Since I got him he's been loving the multi-chamber hideout, and that was the only place he slept in. A few days ago he discovered that he can dig a hole under a wooden platform I put his wheel on, and he's refusing to sleep anywhere else! Is it normal for him to change his liking or could there be something wrong with the hideout? Just curious c:

Welcome to the forum! Yes, I have a Syrian, but I think dwarf hammy owners will likely say changing nest locations is normal. It's great that he has lots of options to make alternative nests in 
And they sometimes like to be as close to their beloved wheel as possible! One of my robos used to move back and forth between his house and a nest near his wheel, when I cleaned one out. So I never cleaned them out/spot cleaned them at the same time. If I did one, he would retreat to the other. When I eventually did the other, he would move back again.
