Just introducing Millie
(Now renamed Molly!) She is about 10 weeks old - a Russian dwarf hamster, and one of an unexpected litter, adopted from Happy Hamsters. She was a bit nervous when I tried to take her out of the pet carrier, so I transferred her into a bin with bedding and toys, from where it would be easier to transfer her to the cage. She seemed quite happy to be popped in the small bin and happily chewed on a yippee and seemed quite chilled. She is really curious and quite tame - she walked on my hand (I think hoping to climb up my arm and find a way out!) She seems to have a lot of personality.

Here she is in the bin (where she was for about 15 minutes until going in the cage).
Here she is climbing on my hand. She was quite happy being held and I lifted her into the cage from the bin by hand quite easily.
And here she is exploring her cage. She then disappeared into the round ceramic hide with the food on top and is still in there!
