Meet snowy

This is snowy, i rehomed him, the lady reckons she had him for over a year, ive had him for about 2 weeks, updated hes cage to the bucastate! And hes thriving gone from not liking to being handled to now allowing me to pick him up and dont bite anymore!

He is absolutely beautiful my 4 year old is obsessed with him she keeps asking to "find hes little nose" lol i still got a bit to get him yet but main thing i wanted to get was a bigger wheel and a bigger cage! Definitely gotta get him some more hides and some sprays!

This was when I first bought him home! She still wont hold him she'll let him walk on her legs and stuff but bare hands is a no go think its cause he nipped her finger when she went to give him some cucumber

Oh it's a shame he nipped her I'm sure she will get over it, with some gentle coaxing. He wouldn't have meant it.. she obviously smelt nice. Ness

It's probably safer letting him walk on her legs and just the odd stroke. Because however good a four year old is they sometimes panic holding a hamster if the hamster tries to wriggle free and sadly a child can then grip tighter trying to hold on. Ours was 6 when we got our first hamster as well and he was a bit scared to hold him too because his little claws used to dig in and he'd wriggle free and stepson was afraid he'd run away and be lost.
