He would probably try to eat him the stones are so tiny it’s hard to paint features on them

I plucked my courage and scooped him up yesterday in the playpen (thanks to Yorkie). It went very well. But I will not carry him anywhere in case he jumps. As a treat I let him free roam. When he climbed into the taxi (sand bath) instead of putting him back in his cage, I let him out on the cushion in front of his cage. The surprised look on his face was priceless and off he toddled. After his fun I scooped him up and put him back in the cage, he wasn’t impressed and clung to the basket I put him in as a taxi. I wasn’t tired so I put him back in the playpen. He was happy but it wasn’t what he wanted. he looked at me and climbed in his taxi, holding on to the opening like driving a car, he obviously wanted me to lift him out and put him on the cushion again so he could free roam. Isn’t it amazing how intelligent they are?
Sorry Nibbles I didn’t give in it was 2 am and he had been out since 10 pm
Tomorrows is another day
I love this little lad, he is so funny and so sweet. He’s the only male i am willing to clean up the bathroom every day after he leaves it in a mess

Yesterday I was so happy to see him so full of energy and joy. It has been so hot here yesterday and today and thankfully due to the blinds I have kept it at 24 degrees when you walk in from the balcony it feels like walking into a refrigerator
So all the efforts and costs helped that has really made my day.
Luckily it’s been cool in the night too, but keeping the temperature at a constant 22-24 degrees has been a godsend.
He’s was so sassy but also so sweet and full of mischief, i really enjoyed watching him

Hello aunty how are you and the piggies? Is it cooler? It’s hot here but mum has made it dark like a burrow she just cooked cauliflower and I climbed up to peek out, i got a piece so i took it in the house quickly
I am going to have another nap next to my cooling bottle. It’s nice down here. Big hammy hugs for you and the piggies

Big hugs back handsome Nibbles I'm glad Mum is feeding you well Today went up to about 27C but is 26.8C. I went for a couple of walks. I think we are a bit more used to the heat, but it is wise to be careful. At night and in the morning it goes down to 19C which is rather nice and comfortable. The temperatures are staying high, but there should be a bit of cloud to help hold off the maximums until later in the day. I've noticed that the days are getting a little bit shorter bit by bit

Yes those noisy blackbirds go away faster mum said soon they will be gone. I am happy it is better for you and the piggies. They had some hard days and are lucky to have such a good mum. always providing them with cold cucumber
I don’t like cucumber I prefer daddy long legs

Today has been the third day of the new heatwave, it is awful, 33 degrees during the day and tonight it was so humid and now there is a thunderstorm. I am sitting on a blanket next to the playpen, Nibbles was a bit nervous as the storm started. But since I have been sitting here he’s relaxed, eating his food and having a wash. It’s nice to know that I can comfort him. It’s just starting to get cooler

It’s awful isn’t it? I have got three fans running. I am lucky the blinds help bit it still got to 26 degrees for a few hours. Now it’s 24 and the storm is horrific!!! But Nibbles is so brave.

Got it!! It jumped on me and I took it out to the balcony it’s was a tiny green grasshopper
