[Socks' Mum]

Yes he is sweet, but also very sassy . I´ve been practicing getting him out with a pyrex jug (he´s not afraid of that). As soon as he gets in it and I carefully try to lift it a cm, he jumps out and gives me a smug look! Of course he grabs the treat first....
He seems to outsmart me all the time! But he loves his new house. He sleeps in the second chamber instead of in his burrow as he did with the smaller house. He also rubs it every day with his body, climbs on the top frequently to check if food and water haven´t disappeared and he takes fresh toilett paper in every day and clears the old out.

He's a tidy, organised little boy

I bought some treats today (I had a voucher at Amazon)
Can someone tell me how much of these corn on the cob I can give Nibbles (if he doesn’t turn his nose up again )

I also ordered a granite slate and a coconut fabric carpet for a playpen. I am not sure if they deliver to the UK but they were very reasonable prices if anyone if interested I will post the homepage.

N: broccoli and apple!! Give me now!
A: you can’t have them every day!

N: you read wrong book, I am off to my wheel. Bye! And I like yogurt drops, can you bring one?

Quests what: I woke up this morning and the new treats and the 6 bits of corn on the cob were gone he took them to bed. He left his slice of carrot but sneakily came back for it later.
Seems like he is just pranking me

I just love his character Ness

He is funny but he really outsmarts me and it is frustrating at times. He climbs into his Pyrex jug taxi, sits in there happily but as soon as I try to lift it he jumps out like a kangaroo. I am just not quick enough to cover it with my hand. He doesn’t run away just sits there and looks as if he’s laughing at me. I guess he’s testing my patience

That's why a rat tube works well They walk up it slower and you can easily get your hands over both ends.

I bought a tube, he hates it. Completely freaked out before it was in the house

Thanks to the corn on the cob, I now know where his food storage his

I am soooo happy
Nibbles climbed in the jug and I was able to lift it up! We did this three times, I slowly took him from one side of the cage to the other. He seemed to understand that it’s not bad. I didn’t take him out of the cage, I was a bit overwhelmed and was not reckoning with this sudden achievement but my instinct told me, it was better to enjoy this little step and not to push further. I will keep it up, maybe tomorrow I will be able to lift him out
