It's lovely to have a kitty around, they are nice. Nibbles is nice too. The memories you make are precious, even if you don't always realise it at the time

Oh they are I always laugh the next day when he’s kept me up.
I really miss my cat, but Nibbles has really helped me over the loss. I am extremely lucky to actually see him every day for at least three hours… and sometimes more

I have a funny question maybe someone can answer:
Nibbles likes to scent mark things… his cage, playpen, water bowl toys ect
When he is really full of himself, he zooms around scent marking and sticks his little tail up in the air like a candle. I know females do this when they are in heat, but has anyone seen a male do this?

 

[Socks' Mum]

Three hours is okay, I take a nap during the day he hates tubes I bought one especially to use as a taxi. The best thing that works is a little see grass basket.
But if he’s still high in energy it takes some persuading
He is very energetic, he spends hours on his wheel and zooms around picking things up and foraging. My vet recons he was far younger than they told me when I bought him. They knew I was looking for an older rescue.
Looking at one of the first fotos he thinks he was aprox eight weeks old. He has grown nearly double the size.

I guess that’s what it is
He sniffs his food and water bowls after I have cleaned and refilled them. Then he rubs himself on them
That of course sends everything flying all over the place

I found Nibbles lost wooden play ball that I made him he took it in the house and it was hidden next to his toilet with a small hoard. How on earth did he get it in there? It’s not small, it has a string through it but I have. I idea how he got it in there

I know but how? It’s not a small ball, he must have dragged it through those three doors he can’t carry it, it’s too big

I left it in the en-suite where he buried it

He loves the new sand bath that was a well invested 1 euro
He sat in there for ages, rolling digging and having fun. It was so cute.
I am glad a bought that bowl

I haven’t got one unfortunately only a huge shower

I have done mums garden today and feel kaputt
So tonight I am treating myself to tarte flamb’ee
I haven’t made one for years so fingers crossed. I have even bought a bottle of dry white wine and will drink an ice cold glass with it, traditionally
Tomorrow I may try baking those strawberry coconut biscuits for hamsters. (The ridiculous expensive ones from Austria)
If anyone is interested I will post the recipe, if it’s a success. Nibbles is mad on them
