Hello Aunty I am out in my playpen. Mum is worried because it’s warm, but I am okay I have been eating and now I am out in my wheel. I hope the piggies will be fine too I don’t like the silly sun

I would love be to know why he eagerly climbs into a taxi to get in there, but is horrified if you want to put him back! He will not climb in any taxi. In the end I wait until he goes into something in the playpen, usually the sandbath and take him back in that! Yesterday it was the strawberry hideout, and it takes him aged to climb back out. He literally waits in case it goes back to the playpen! I give up
But at least he used his toilet again it was so full, I had to change nearly all the sand. And no food in there.

Aww he's trying to tell you he wants to stay, and there's nothing more exciting than the start of an adventure. He's clearly very happy with the playpen, if it's time for his human to go it's always better than leaving a ham unsupervised. He will have to deal with it, safety first

Socks liked to train every day. A true hammy wheel fan and athlete keeps up his nutrition and training no matter what The piggies say hi Nibbles We don't like the sun either

I know it’s always heartbreaking we have got into a good routine now. Still it’s sad, he likes it there so much. The novelty hasn’t worn off

I was still awake at five I got a treat from mum, a walnut. I think the heat bothers her more than me to be honest that’s because she is old, poor mum. She has made my bed and cleaned my en-suite so I am going to bed now nite nite aunty and here a big hammy cuddle

It awful today, I fainted at work after I had to deal with customers bringing scrap because my boss took a few days off. It got so hot we have closed the gates, as hardly anyone was coming in this heat. I am at home now, refilled the ice box on the fan, put fresh ice pads under the cage. And I took my fan from work until the new one arrives. I hate this heat I can’t eat, it makes me feel sick. So my blood sugar and blood pressure were very low. I will try an ice cream now and just sit on the sofa supervising the ice box in the fan nibbles seems okay. I have done what I can to help him I have put an extra cool pad down too, it seems to help.

My mum was just on the phone to ask how Nibbles is dealing (she is very concerned) I sent the foto, she answered:
The lucky little fluff! I wouldn’t mind swapping, I would would like to be all cosy with an ice pack under my bum
She reassured me he must be quite happy if he is cuddled up like that, I hope so

In my mums flat it’s 31 degrees. I don’t know what else to do
It was 35 degrees here today that was not in the direkt sun.
I hope Nibbles survives this

It's 27 here in my flat. My piggies are eating thank goodness and the fan is on, but the heat is unpleasant. I think if they have a little time to adjust they should be OK

Thank Ness, I have managed to get it down to 26 degrees and it’s cooling off slightly outside still 27 degrees. Looks like a torn is rolling in

I'm OK, I'm on holiday. I booked vacation at this time months ago to try to be at home for the piggies during the heat waves. I have been allowed to plan my working from home days for heat wave days as well which is nice. It's 26.8 but my piggies, who feels the heat, seems relaxed. Truffle even stamped in his loft, which means he wants veggies. I think if Nibbles was too hot he would come out. I hope he comes out soon
