My little companion, Hammy

She looks very cute and pleased with herself there :-)

She certainly does. I always get a little scared when she's burrowing, because I keep thinking she'll get stuck and not be able to get out.

She can't get stuck in bedding :-) They have powerful little legs.

I was sorting out all the toys etc what I've bought her and her predecessor, and I managed to fill 2 boxes. Most of it she doesn't use.

It's amazing how many toys you somehow end up getting your hamsters. They are so spoiled really.

She's very pretty :-)

Thank you. She's quite tame now. Each day that passes, gets easier. She's been a great comfort since I lost my last hammy. She often comes out when I'm doing a spot clean of her cage. It's like she's my little supervisor and wants to help. Even when I do a full cage clean, she's there, looks out of her nest to see what is going on, then goes back to bed.

Did a spot clean of hammys cage bedding this morning, and put a few more things in for her. One of which is a flexible tunnel. Came home earlier, and as I expected, she's moved out of her main hide and set up home in the tunnel. Last time I pug it in the cage, I barely saw her. Should I take it out?

Wow that looks good 😊. How did you attach it? Thats something I’ve never been able to work out.

The one I have has got a bracket that the camera slots into. I just pushed the stalk for want of a better word, through the top of the cage, and push it back into the bracket
