Are you going to try it? I’d be interested to see what it’s like, freezing changes the texture of tofu a lot & my hams didn’t like it, freeze dried would be different again & I’m not sure it would have the same appeal really.

I may do. Orko likes freeze dried chicken so he may like it but you do make a good point about the texture.

It might be worth trying, you never know with hamsters! I think freeze drying preserves the flavour in chicken (I haven’t tried it myself!) but tofu has so little flavour to begin with it might be the texture that appeals most.

I am interested in this product, but cannot find the protein content or analyse. Do you know this?

I tried it, it tastes awful a bit like chewing cardboard. I could understand that my hamster rejected it 🥴

:)
I have ordered one package to try for for my young hamster. Iwant to add more protein without adding too much animal protein to her diet.
Do you still have the package? I cannot find the nutritional analyses anywhere.

I will add the link, I didn’t get the niteangel packet but I guess they more or less all taste similar.
I feed walnuts to add protein to my hamsters diet, he won’t eat mealworms or any other dried insects for hamsters. Cottage cheese is also a good source, but mine doesn’t like that either 🫣
My vet told me to be careful only to feed the dried chicken outside of his cage (playpen) as it is dangerous if they store it and it gets moist.
I have fed the treats to my friends dogs 🐶 they enjoyed the tasteless snack
