I cannot believe what just happened! I was looking at the camera app on my phone and moving the camera around to get a different angle when Orko went passed! At first I thought I had it on playback but he was out! He went around pouching seeds and then vanished. He is so quiet I would never have even known he was out. This is a major breakthrough as the light is on. He really is so unpredictable!

Sorry for the scare. I meant out from his burrow. I cannot imagine any way he could escape his cage.

Snap. That makes two of us. My OH told me this morning that he hadn't seen Finley for a while. I assured him that Finley was alive and well going by the state of his tank.

It is funny we have lodgers we never see. Sometimes I feel I do not really have a hamster as I only know Orko from watching the night camera. I have hardly anything to do with his care other then the odd spot clean.

It was nice to see Orko in his pumpkin. He had beech chips in there for him to dig in. The shell next to it has dried flowers.

Orko has coco fibre in a large jar but he rarely uses it. I bought this box to see if he will prefer it. He has the bigger version for his aspen and he uses that a lot. Here is a picture of it in his cage and of the box so you can see what it looks like.

Now I think about it, this coco fibre was from Hopes Healthy Treats. Another bag was from Amazon.
