Taking seeds from a spoon is very positive and a nice way of offering treats without hands.Isn't he just!
He has been more wary of my fingers the past few days so last night I put some of his seed mix on a measuring spoon and held it still in his cage and he came and pouched all the food from it. This allows him to still associate me with good things while not having to get too close to my hands. I'm going to stick to doing that until he is consistently comfortable with it before trying to offer things directly from my fingers again (which he was pretty good with in his temporary bin but not doing so well with since he moved).
Its a sorghum spray but yeah, his pouches were full to the brim! He stripped that huge spray pretty darn quick!Yep, it's the same with brambles. The biggest ones are always at the very top. Just look at those pouches. I'm surprised there were any millet seeds left.
