Pip the Robo

After attempt number two, I decided to move the treat pyramid and push it into the substrate where it wouldn't fall over - and Pip finally got the raisin on the top!

Oh bless him! Thatt was so funny & so cute, I thought he was going to walk off with it on his head for a moment there in the first one 😍😆
He really does love his treat, happy easter Pip!

Aw it is so lovely to see Pip. He really enjoyed his Easter treat. Even it falling did not bother him.

I shouldn't have laughed but I really did laugh when he went tumbling over with it and kept trying to go inside it! On the second video he is running up and down his back shelf at the start and I think trying to show me something was missing! I forgot I had taken his hyacinth tube out to put in the playpen last time - it's usually wedged under that shelf and makes a convenient ramp down without him having to go the long way round! Which he did. He really was quite excited about the treat. Thanks to Rainbow and Beryl for their lovely treat ideas with cardboard and sticking seeds on! I shall have to do this more often.

Yes and I find that with Robos. Even though he is only my second Robo! The first one was exactly the same though - they really do communicate when there's something they want you to know. The other thing he's been doing recently is pushing food out of the bars to make a noise ha ha. As if to say oi you haven't fed me yet! His food goes all over the shelf as he sits in the bowl so there is always some on the shelf to push out through the bars!

I couldn't help but laugh when Pip and the Easter cone took a dive. He was totally unphased by it though and just carried on.

Did enjoy watching Pip have a good and lengthy effort with his Easter treat. That deserved the solution you found Maz, to push it into the substrate so he could get his reward.
Another Easter treat triumph - Pip loved it.

Thank you. It seems to have given Pip a new interest - he was out and about more tonight and running in his wheel. He has been fairly reclusive for a while recently. So maybe he had just got bored.

Pip is out and about every night at the moment. Talks to me (kind of), runs on his wheel and whizzes about his cage :-) He is still going bonkers for his pyramid seed treat and there are hardly any seeds left on it (plus it ends up all over the place and I keep putting it back where it was.

That treat pyramid has been such a big success, he’s loving that & it’s great that he’s out & about more so you can see more of him & have a nice chat.

It's lovely to hear Pip is out and about. Are you going to make him another tree or something different?

Pip really loves his treat. It is like it has excited him so much he wants to come out more to enjoy it. 🙂

I wonder if he'll disappear again once there are no seeds left on the treat! In which case I'll have to make him another one.

Pip has gone a bit awol again. I see him occasionally. The pyramid treat has been all over the place and now has no seeds left on it. I found it in front of the cage door tonight so I'm taking that as a "take it away now".
