Power cuts

Ugh. Has anyone else been getting power cuts? We've had them twice the last few days. The first time it was only off for a very short time, so the living room heater's timer clock wasn't affected. Today it was off for about half an hour and nobody noticed the electric heater's time clock had lost it's settings - so it's been cold all night. It's been reset now so the hamsters should be fine!

Oh no! The neighbouring village to us seems to get them frequently, but not here, thank goodness!

Hamsters had some warm scrambled egg to make up for it this evening. Tino was out on his wheel as usual last night, despite it being a bit cold. Higgins wasn't - he only came out for a few minutes. But it was warm from 6am onwards. Tino has more fat on him I think! I can see both cages from the Hamstercam at the moment where I have it angled.

Yes it was actually quite mild last night - which is why no one noticed the heater hadn't come on! But definitely cold in the middle of the night.
