Preparing for new cage set up

the worst thing about buying natural roots or vines etc. Is that we cant really choose what we want 😅 I got 2 grape vines the same size and they both look completely different from eschother !!! One was skinny and long and the other one was chunky and hefty

That's true - some of these natural things it's probably very hit and miss buying online and better to go to a reptile store and choose one or something. The exception to that is the Cork Shed! When you buy a cork log or branch, you get exactly the piece you've chosen from the photo (which tells you what size it is and you can see what shape). It's a great place.

I don’t have anything close so I tend to order online! But I haven’t been to like the city pet stores in a while I’d have to look around. I tend to buy from Amazon-

I like I wish my cork log was a bit shorter as it’s very long and got size medium cause it fits the hamster from trixie! But it was difficult to place it in the enclosure 😅😅

It's tricky isn't it? I'm sure your hamster loves it though! I've often wondered if you can cut a bit off a cork log/carve it, but have always been too nervous to try in case the whole thing falls apart.
 
I have seen someone do it before but honestly my clumsy hands could never 😅😅 I feel if I ever touch anything like this I just destroy it and I already paid for this and I rather just keep it 😂😂

I feel exactly the same! I would probably destroy it too, in the attempt. As long as it fits and the hamster likes it :-)
