Quiet set up?

I think you mentioned a silent wheel before - that helps. I also mentioned on your other thread, that it might be an idea not to get a female syrian as they can be very active and especially if they know you're in the room at night. I think most male syrians or robos would be pretty quiet. Aside from that I can only think of earplugs!
 
Both my male hamsters are in my room and they are so silent I can sleep through the whole night! The key is to get a real silent wheel (a lot of brands claim to be silent but aren’t). Avoiding barred cages would also be a way to reduce noise because they won’t bar bite which is noisy. Although in a properly set up enclosure with lots of enrichment, that shouldn’t be an issue too 😄
