Rat poop guards

I've seen someone on a different page using rat poop guards on their hamster cage as a cheaper alternative to the viking laser panels for a barred cage. How do they fix onto the cage? And are they any good?

Some here - they do seem quite a bit cheaper. Two different height options and multiple different length options.

That's an interesting find...I had a quick Google and could only find them on Ebay. These look much better than the ones on Ebay! Useful that they have 2 heights to choose from and also lots of different lengths. They could be useful for Miss B ..might have to look at getting some Being perspex, she won't be able to chew them...although she would probably try

They can chew there edges if they can reach them, from what I can tell from the loving nibbles on the gin gins' perspex panels. Also you need to measure the cage and "design" the panel. But I am sure I will get some as if you can fit them correctly, that are a great tooth and sleep saver

Yes, would definitely deter any bar biting! I'm thinking about Blossom's propensity for digging burrows at the front of her cage, and tipping excess bedding on the floor! I'm forever sweeping up bits of bedding
