Robin posing.

He's adorable :-) I wonder why he likes that particular corner for his special place :-) I just had to calculate what 9 ounces was in grammes! I can't imagine ounces for some reason :-) So about 255g! He's a big boy.

Sometimes it's the type of lighting affects photo colours - eg if it's low light/dim or if there are lamps on - some light bulbs can cause an orangey cast and different types of light bulb can cause a bluey cast.

Or - you might accidentally have a filter set on your phone? Assuming it's a phone. Which can change colours to give certain effects,

It's very hard to get good photos of hammies when they don't like a lot of light!. Dark fur is harder to capture as well :-) We can see he is a beautiful boy though.
Thanks for thinking he is gorgeous, just like we do. He does love his dig boxes so much ,he has been out and about since 10.40 this morning .playing ,running all over us,and stuffing his face. He hasn't asked to go back yet,he does when he is ready. He is nuts ,as when he comes out of his burrows ,I have to coax him out of his cage, but once out, freedom lol I have tried.all.ways to see what's going on with my photos, but that.

I don't know much about phone settings for photos - but maybe there's a way to reset them to default or something.

See the differences ?
The last one looks like it had flash which overbrightened things :) The first two just look like low lighting. I have an angle poise lamp which I sometimes point at the ceiling when the hamsters are out at night. It's a bit bright for them if it's pointing normally but if I point it at the ceiling it sort of just diffuses the light and brightens up the room :-) And means the photos come out a bit better.

Thanks for that, the flash was off on both, that light was the tv,and I got him while he was watching. I will keep trying for solutions . Caz's photos come out the best. She has been trying to take some also for the cuteness factor. So watch out for those .

It looks like the way the camera is reacting to the light. If it's a phone, I don't know how the settings work - so much is automated. I find it easier using my "proper" camera to set things how I want, but I don't get it out that often, and when I do, often find the battery has gone flat! Maybe there's a photo tutorial for your particular phone somewhere online :-)
