She is so beautiful and trusting. It is very worrying. At least Robin isn't scratching at herself and the skin is not infected. I hope your vet can find a treatment for this

She has a routine that when she goes back to her cage she comes and stands on the side to ask me for peanuts . It usually involves a little shoulder rub against the bars, and standing on her back legs doing a little dance with her front paws. If I take too long to pick the peanuts out of their container ,she leans right low to the shelf as if to say ,"look how cute I am"and then pops right back up again the second I come near with the peanut lolHope we get to see a photo of that![]()
Thankyou so muchLots of loving and healing vibes to Robin.
I hope everything goes OK for lovely Robin and she is back home and comfortable quicklyA.quick update on my little darling. I found what I suspected to be a mamary tumour last night that definitely wasn't there two days ago( but you know their metabolism) . We obviously acted upon it and rushed her to the vet this afternoon. She hasn't lost weight and is her usual happy self and the vet is very confident that she is a good candidate for a lumpectomy. She goes in Monday morning ,please keep your fingers crossed for her.He now believes the fur loss is hormonal due to the female cancer.
Thankyou Mazdid it go.well for him?So sorry about the mammary lump and hope the surgery goes well xxx One of mine had a mammary lump in his neck and he was male.
ThankyouI hope everything goes OK for lovely Robin and she is back home and comfortable quickly❤
He was quite an old boy and wasn't suitable for surgery. It didn't seem to bother him much and he passed in his sleep.Thankyou Mazdid it go.well for him?
Oh yes,our house is constantly warm anyway, our heating is never off as my arthritis and the hammies need to be warm. That is good to hearWishing her a speedy recovery. Did they give you a post-op sheet? I remember mine said about temperature - needing to keep the room warm, as post anaesthetic they can't regulate body temperature and feel cold easily.
Thankyou so much, she really is so attached to me,my little baby. She couldn't wait to get into my jacket when I picked her up from the vets, and was such a good girl at taking her meds last night. I have checked in her throughout the night to make sure she is taking food..At 5.00 some was eventually missing ,with a little blank hole in the middle ..and then just now, more was missing . She has taken to her hospital quarters easily, considering she only has one cosy hide and the shelves to house her food plate and water.Wishing you both comfort and a fast recovery. Brave Robin, she loves you so much![]()
