I came across this today. It looks a nice idea. Only thing is it says it's made from "edible cellulose fibreboard" coated with meadow hay. I think this has come up before as to whether cellulose fibreboard is ok to chew or not. Hamsters could well chew it if it has hay stuck on it.

Hmm, i'd go for a homemade one. Cut cardboard into a flower shape, brush on flour - water paste, sprinkle on green forage mix or suitable hay and then add the flowers. At least that way you know that it's safe.

I think it's okay as hamsters aren't very likely to be eating it. Cellulose fibreboard is probably quite similar to a very dense cardboard.

I think it would probably be ok too, it looks similar to those little individual pot of flower forage that quite a few people used in the past, not sure if you can still get them or if they’re exactly the same but my hams were never interested!

It's just something to put the flower forage in isn't it? You could just scatter some. I think some hamsters might be interested in chewing the hay off though.

Yes. I think people would buy it because they think it looks nice in a cage. A hamster may well prefer scattered flowers they can forage for.
