Thanks so much! Glad I don't have to use "Henry's Hamsters" food or whatever it's called. Sort of expensive! Also my hamster will be Syrian.Do you know if the hamster will be a Syrian or a dwarf hamster? Re the food.
The Bucatstate enclosure is a great option for either species. Otherwise, from the top of your list:
Tiny friends hamster food - an ok basic food for Syrian hamsters which contains everything needed - the pieces are a bit large for dwarf hamsters but they will eat it.
Carefresh is fine as long as it's unscented and no "additives" (there are different versions). Kaytee Clean and Cozy is better IMO - less dust. Also an unscented version obviously. For a large enclosure like the Bucatstate you will need a lot of bedding, so you might want to look into bulk paper bedding - eg a bale of Boxo bedding from Walmart maybe.
I don't know anything about the Henry's food so I'd say probably not and it looks like pellets.
Reptisand is fine (check it's calcium-free)
The niteangel water bowl is good - the little mountain in the middle is a good safety feature so they can't fall in.
The sandbath looks a bit small and only for dwarf hamsters - the entrance hole looks small - a Syrian could get stuck. I would skip that. You can actually use any container as a sand bath - eg an old ice cream tub - although it would need to be supported underneath on say a low platform under the substrate so it doesn't sink and squash the hamster.
Thank you so much! Will not be using!I would definitely leave out the Timothy apple biscuits. They are for animals who eat hay, and hamsters won't be able to digest them. If your hammy is tempted to eat them by the flavour, the hay might make him unwell![]()
Plus, It's cheaperGot some more! This bowl is adorbs!

I LOVE PURPLE!! And Niteangel was sold outBut this wheel looks fine and is big enough for a Syrian.
Thanks! Will find a new one!The wheel would be OK for a young hamster as a first wheel, but a 12 inch wheel is better for an adult Syrian. The colour is lovely.
Thank you! I hope Niteangel has restocked! Otherwise I'll be getting an Omelet (Niteangel wood wheels seem to be difficult to clean!)Those little bowls are lovely. I wouldn't get the wheel though. Apart from being a bit on the small side, it has slots at the back. I always worry about a hamster getting a paw caught in a slot while it's spinning. So personally I wouldn't think of that as a safe wheel. Ideally they are solid at the back with no slits. A good wheel for a Syrian is the exotic nutrition silent runner wheel 12". They're not that expensive in the US (they are expensive in the Uk due to import costs). As long as you don't mind orange! They tend to be very long lasting wheels and completely silent, so good value for money. But I know the look of the open nitenagel ones is popular these days

I think the 11" (large) niteangel wheels are in stock at amazon and they are a suitable size for most syrians. But they are expensive. Another option which is a good silent wheel is this Omlet oneIt's very nice, I have one.
