Syrian female antics

Hi guys. So my little Mindy is well and truly come out her shell which so great but she now never wants to be in her enclosure.

She gets out for free roam every night for at least an hour either in the living room or bedroom.

I’m struggling when she is back in the bucastate as she is obsessed with getting out if I or my partner is there. Sometimes even when we are not. I had to move certain items so she can’t climb and try and chew the front door. I’ve made her several boredom breakers she has everything really in there but has no interest and just wants out even after being out for over an hour most nights. Is there anything else I can try with her. I give her a reward when she is back in either a monkey nut or a chew but she takes the em to her burrow and is right back to wanting out again. She goes on her wheel a little but not as much as previously. she has cardboard and dig boxes. I don’t know what else to do. I feel so bad when she is trying to get out but enclosure. I’m not very diy and as far as I’m aware 3.0 is biggest I can get. Is it just my lot with a Syrian female. I feel like she is more high maintenance than my last girl was.

She sounds like a typical maverick female Syrian! Is she in the 100cm bucatstate now or the 120? I’m sure she’d appreciate a 120 if she doesn’t have it already. I suspect she would still want to be out a lot. But may be a bit more settled.

I had a male a bit like this and he always wanted to be out even after he’d been out for about 3 hours free roaming! But I soon sussed that he stopped clamouring if I turned the lights out and went to bed. Then he woukd just settle and forage and run on his wheel. I would watch on my phone (via nightcam).

What time does she normally come out? If it could be nearer bedtime then it’s easier for you to turn the lights out and go to bed.
