Teddy had a great night last night, he was up just before 1am. It's impressing me how he's covering every inch of his enclosure, he doesn't let a bit of paper go by without a sniff. Yet again he was on his wheel alot and now it seems quite natural to him to go down into his tunnel and collect his Nibblot! On his dish he had carrot 
and a pea 
and of course his Nibblot. I've mentioned before about teddy coming up out of his multi chamber and sitting on the top to have a drink and watch us have breakfast ( witch was lovely) well now he's coming on a regular basis and pushing himself against the perspex and he lies there watching us for ages? He might turn around a few times but he stays there, even with us moving about! We obviously don't bother him. Here's a picture:

Teddy 
had a good night last night, he was up just before 1am again. He had alot of foraging time and wheel time. Infact the amount of time he spends on his wheel makes it well worth buying a good quality one! A cheap one wouldn't have taken this bashing! He had a piece of carrot and a pea and of cause his Nibblot on his dish He really gave his whimzees crocodile a good go last night, couldn't believe how he was pulling at it with his teeth, just what I wanted. He's dug down to Australia in one of his sandbaths I'll leave it alone and see what he does with it tonight He seems to fill his pouches then he goes down his new lounge tunnel to get his other Nibblot, he's definitely used to it now!

Yes I have thought about out of enclosure time and I'm sure with teddy's confidence and curiosity growing with every day, it won't be long before we'll be doing that! Teddy to me is the important one in all of this and I don't want to rush him and then push him back ( which I feel has happened) the right time will come, I'm sure it's not far away ! and that's exciting Ness

Teddy had a lovely time last night, he was up just before midnight and stayed up until 3.30 He did his wheel and lot's of hammy foraging. I hid a few of his treats around in unusual places... Of course he found them, which was great 
He nibbled his whimzees crocodile and had 2 peas and his Nibblot on his dish. He's still digging to Australia in his corner bath. Bless him.

Teddy has been having a good couple of nights! He's been getting up nice and early.. around midnight and staying up a good 4 hours. He's been loving his veg on his dish and I've started hiding his favourite things around his enclosure
I've been very impressed with how he's found everything I've sneakaly hidden. He's spending alot of time on his wheel, I'm just starting to see abit of wear on the sandpaper so I might have to change it soon. Fortunately they supplied a spare sandpaper with the wheel. Considering we have a visitor at the moment it hasn't affected him at all. He's still going in the lounge tunnel via the top hole to collect his Nibblot, he hasn't realised yet that he can burrow up into it! but it is early days. Can't wait for him to burrow up,I think that's when he might stay in it! Ness

It's great that Teddy is getting so much enrichment I've heard that sandpaper isn't good for their feet. Not quite sure where, but apparently it can lead to sore feet. I think cork might be better
