They can be very entertaining! Made me laugh imagining him throwing it in his dish. There is definitely some kind of plan there .......... what it is we can only guess!

Teddy was up at 10.45 last night, he went straight to a bridge that I put in yesterday to help him get up onto his tray from the side, he loves it! He did all of his usual things.. wheel and foraging then went back to bed around 2am. This is a good hour earlier but yet again he's getting back up at 4.45am to play with his crocodile I left it on his dish where he put it! I think he likes the noise it makes on the dish when he keeps banging it down. He had a good nibble of it then collected some more food and went back to bed around 5.30 He's sleeping against the perspex at the side of his enclosure which is lovely because I can see him, He's also rebuilding his hoard after my cleaning session the other day Ness

He is a sweetheart at the moment he's making a lot of noise sorting his food stash out! It's very important to have everything on the right place you know Bless him Ness

Teddy is being a little sweetheart he's getting up around 10.30pm and staying up until 2.30 am He's doing his usual things... Enjoying his wheel, he loves his wheel He enjoys foraging around his enclosure, he covers every inch. He knows I tend to hide things for him in different places every night! He's still enjoying his carrot cottage and having a chew on his wood log . Teddy is still getting up early morning any time between 3.30am to 6am he has another forage around and gets a good drink , then he fills his pouches and goes back to bed. He seems to enjoy his routine Ness

Teddy has had a couple of good nights, he's been getting up around 10.30pm and going back to bed around 3am He's enjoying doing his usual things and really enjoying his treats! His dish is always the first port of call can't blame him really when he's been deep underground all day! He still has to show his crocodile who's the boss in this enclosure and you can't blame him you can't have a crocodile running wild.. can you? He makes sure he gives him a good chew and wrestle before getting back on his wheel for a good workout. With all the treats mum keeps giving him he has to keep those hips in shape His favourite treat at the moment is a piece of french bean, if I put anything else you can see him searching for his bean . Sweet teddy He still has his little window at the side of the enclosure but it's awkward to take a picture. I've tried several times, it's an awkward angle. But it's good to know he's there He's still getting up around 4am for an hour to have a look around and make sure he hasn't missed anything and have a drink Ness

Is that the crocodile completely flattened on the left of his dish?

Yes it is , bless him he always seems to nibble the top of the head and ears first and he always sits on his back to wrestle with it! Which tends to flatten it poor crocodile Ness

Sweet I have often thought that we are lucky that cats are so small, and now hamsters. They still have their wild instincts, but that is part of what makes them fascinating and beautiful

Teddy was up last night at 10.30pm he went straight to his dish and ate his piece of cauliflower which he hasn't had for a while. He loved it . He stayed up until around 2am after having wheel time and a good forage. I've noticed he's blocked off the entrance into his multi chamber, this intrigued me so I had to investigate I was pleased to find him after lifting the lid fast asleep in his multi chamber bedroom,so glad that he's using it at last. I should have guessed really with his window by the perspex being on the same side, just underneath. It looks like he's had a wee in his toilet but it wasn't as much as I expected so I think that's still early days. He got up again around 3.30 pm just for an hour then went back to bed. Here he is having his cauliflower Ness

That is quite common as they start to feel it being cooler air - blocking up the entrance to a hide He's cute as ever sitting there

Socks would put up a "door" but I think it might have been a hint to Mom, no nest jumbling

Teddy has changed his routine over the past couple of nights! He's still getting up around 10.30 to 11pm but he's going back to bed around 1.30 he's still enjoying his wheel and foraging and he's stocking up his hoard with plenty of nice treats and necessary food. I think he's noticing that it's much cooler now He's also stopped getting up around breakfast time, I feel he's getting cozy and warm and with his plentyful hoard he has all he needs Here he is showing crocodile who's in charge in this enclosure

I think it's so amusing how teddy has blocked the entrance to the multi chamber now that he's moved in there. If you look to the right of him you can see the paper stuffed in and he check's it every night to make sure I haven't been messing with it!

It’s so cute. He’s making sure the entrance is well secured. I often wonder how they get enough bedding to close the entrance, it must be hard work!

Been there! Tidied up loose paper spilling out of the top hole and they go and put it back again It's very sensible of them really - it's insulation. They can feel the temperature starting to drop so make themselves cosy by blocking any draughts from entrances.
