Haven't found it yet, but the only safe way to do it really would be food based "ink" like crushed blueberries or beetroot juice. They will lick it off their paws so I wouldn't trust any ink products.

Teddy had a good night last night, still only up around 3 hours. He enjoyed a small piece of broccoli and a pea on his dish with of cause one of his favourite Nibblots! It was a much more comfortable night last night I think everyone managed to catch up with some sleep. Let's hope we have a few more nights like it. I keep mentioning teddy's special dish, it's only a small pin dish... Here's a picture Ness

Teddy yet again was only up 2 to 3 hours last night! Beginning to feel it's his new routine . He had cauliflower and a pea on his dish. For an extra treat he had a small piece of dandelion root! All gone this morning He's foraging well and he's still nibbling that stuffed piece of wood , I'll take a picture Ness

Yes I think we're all still recovering! The trouble is you adjust to it and then it goes away. Mind you I think I'd rather be too cold than that awful humidity at least when your cold you can grab a jumper and put the fire on !! Sweet nibbles teddy sends hammy hugs . Ness

Hi everyone I've been very busy this morning, cleaning another third of Teddy's enclosure! It was the third with platform's and his wheel and big sandbath... My back is now hurting but it's such a good job done. There was a big hoard under the wheel platform (cheeky boy) as I was sorting it teddy came to my hand as if to say .. ok woman that will do! He was very nice and didn't make any noise like last time so I think he's getting into the routine now. I made sure I left some of the hoard there. It was nice to interact with him, he's a lovely hammy so there's some new paper in there and we've put a lounge tunnel at the front by the perspex so hopefully he'll like it and we'll get to see him in it! I know what your thinking but let's have faith!! I've heard him earlier scratting about, so it's good he's putting things as he likes them! Last night he had carrot and a pea with his Nibblot and he enjoyed them there wasn't any Nibblot in the hoard so it's good to know he eats them. Now I'm going to have some more painkillers for my back Ness

Oh dear, I hope the pain goes away. It is a very back breaking job. I have to take breaks in between. But Teddy will feel good in his clean cage

Thank you my back has recovered now! I think floor cleaning and putting washing out helped, just stretching it in different ways . I think Teddy will appreciate it! Who doesn't like a clean bed I'm more intrigued with this tunnel ? Ness

Did you put one of those underground tunnels in? I had one out of wood for Nibbles it was too small I feared he would get stuck. He went down once and seemed to share my fears. I donated it to a young girl with a dwarf hamster.

Thank you Amy yes we're trying an underground tunnel! It's quite roomy and I don't think teddy is too big for it , I'll keep an eye on it teddy sends hugs to nibbles Ness

I love those tunnels maybe mine was just on the smaller size, or Nibbles is really big (I always think he’s tiny)

I've just been looking at this tunnel through the perspex.. it doesn't have a base so teddy can burrow up into it or burrow out. There is a hole in the top for him to go in if he wants to and that's quite big Ness
