The next heat wave!

The next seven days we are having a miniature heatwave (37-30 degrees) but the sun is so hot you feel like a fried chicken if you have to do anything outside.

Summer seems to be turning out to be one long head wave. We will need to talk about cool waves at this rate

Well last night was the worst one for the midges. One went up my nose! So that kept me awake for a while and plenty of nose blowing. It's a cool breeze and slightly rainy here today though.

There are still some in the bedroom tonight as well. I guess I'll have to try and find some midge mesh for the window. It's becoming an expensive summer! We've also had a few butterflies in the house. Caught them and set them free again.

This year seems like there are loads of them in the UK my aunty has the same problem. We had a cold winter with lots of snow, so not too many this year
