Unsafe hamster items and toys

I have one, and I have to say for a very active hamster, she has never actually climbed it. For a bit of reference, she has had other hanging toys which she climbed up and chewed through the string. It's been in the a while, should I leave it?
 
I think it's fine, I've been using them for years.
