I’m looking to collect some inspiration from enclosures far above the 775sq inch minimum.

I follow a few creators so far but would love if anyone knew others.

Thank you

Hi. Some people have made enclosures from Ikea Pax which comes in various sizes :-) One is about 6 feet long I believe. Some pictures on this thread - some via links

Thank you!

I’m thinking more along the lines of larger custom builds like this one which is 300cm x 100 x 75cm or the custom aquarium build by plueschraupe :)

Hi sorry :-) The site stops links to external social media site links other than youtube. Part of our risk assessment for the OSA. I had a look though and it was an amazing large cage. I don't know how you'd build a diy like that, other than the pax options. Uploading images might be easier :-)

I think Plueschrappe uses large glass tanks doesn't she?

This thread doesn't have many extra large set ups but the first one on the thread is 150cm x 60cm I think. I believe the owner had a custom build from an Etsy site.

No problem, I wasn’t sure if posting other people’s photos was allowed so I included the link.

Below are two custom builds. I’m just trying to gather some inspiration from other owners that i’m not already aware of who have enclosures to this large of a scale.

Plueschraupe does use glass tanks but they’re custom built but an aquarium designer. I’m curious if anyone else has gone as bigger or bigger than Plueschraupe :)

Dang! That looks like hammie heaven for sure :)

I don't think I've seen anything bigger than Plueschrappe's tanks but I did have a Syrian who free roamed for hours every night 😂

I made mine 24”X48” =1152 sq2 mine is two feet high also.
I wouldn’t change the 2 feet wide or high. It’s the ideal height to work with. I picked 4 feet because I used FSC-certified Aspen 3/4 Plywood sheets of 4X8’ therefore I only needed one sheet to do the cage and it was the ideal space in the spare room but i’d do a 2X6 too just there’s leftover material.
It’s the glass or polycarbonate that costs the most
