Really pleased to hear Xolo is getting braver Pumpkin seeds sound like the way to go! It's a shame he gets up so late. I wonder if pumpkin seeds appearing earlier in the day would encourage him to get up earlier?

Sadly I rarely see him during the day only in his burrows even if I leave treats for him they’re left untouched until night time. Im hoping with time he’ll venture out more during the day or at least earlier than eleven

Sorry for not updating recently. I wanted to take a photo but I haven’t been able to, also progress has been going so well I didn’t want to spook him.
Xolo has suddenly changed completely! And he‘s been like this for two weeks so looks like he likes us now
I think he’s figured out that when I open the cage door it means food and nothing bad so now he comes right up to the door with his paws on the edge. I’m determined to get a photo of him doing that as it’s so sweet.
He’s also fine with me scattering the rest of his food around his cage when he’s at the front, that used to really spook him but now he seems very confident.
Other good news is he’s started to come out during the day for a few treats. I really hope he carries on doing this as it‘s so lovely to get to see him in daylight.
I‘ll try to get a photo of him this weekend

I managed to get a photo of Xolo. It’s a bit out of focus but he’s getting very brave these days and he’s so gentle when he eats out your hand. I’m hoping I can gradually get him used to being lifted up when he’s in my hand but I’m going to take it slow as he’s is a cautious little fella
