Bernard has turned into a proper little Robo and prefers to do his own thing.

He gets all excited when he sees me, runs around and onto my hand for linseeds but ignores offers of taking a taxi to the playground.
The other night i slowly lifted my hand with him on it and then let him walk from hand to hand but he was not impressed. Soon as i put him down he run into his house and refused to come out again.
I suppose he couldn't see the point of this hand to hand thing and tbh, neither could i.

He gets up later now as well but he's often still up in the morning. I think him and Finley run wheel races all night. The state their wheels are in in the morning is unbelievable!

Whatever they are up to, i think they're having fun. There's less than a meter between their tanks and they are downstairs where it's quiet at night so i'm pretty sure that they are aware of each other.

I was hoping for an update on Bernard! It sounds like he is secure now and settled hence he is happy doing his own thing. He really is a sweet little munchkin. I love that he and Finely race each other in their wheels at night.

I have seen Finley briefly during the day but rarely at night. He gets up late and Bernard seems to have slipped into a similar routine.

Robos are so different from Syrians. They live in their own worlds and that's the way they like it.

Just saw little Bernard run off with the crock treat i had left for him. Couldn't even get a photo, he was so quick to take it to wherever he's nesting.

Lol! He matches the check blanket I don't think I've seen a robo sit still so long listening out of the cage. He is so fast on the wheel.

Had i known that Bernard's coming out i would have used the red check blanket!
I turned the overhead light on because he blended in too much for the dim lamp i normally use.
