That was brave of Scottie. I see he has forgiven you for cutting his nails.

He is so cute!

Scottie was in his wheel at 17.00 and i think he was waiting for his fresh food again.

Soon as he heard me he sat on the spot where his fresh food plate goes and wouldn't move for me to put it down!

I had to shoosh him away with my finger to be able to put it down. He got stuck in rightaway.
He's a Robo on a mission when he wants something.

That shows he's not scared of you :-) Pip has started doing that too. That time I nearly put the food on top of him lol. He sat right next to the food bowl the whole time I was putting the food in. We also had a bit of drama when I went to change his water bottle. He weaved in and out of my arms and hands as if to say - don't touch my water bottle! But finally jumped off the shelf and sat on top of a hide looking at me.

Aww that is so brave and cute! Scottie seems to really love food. He is clever too as he sends you signals.

Pip is really confident too. He's trying to stop you from touching his stuff, haha.

Scottie was just out and zooming around in the playground. When he wanted to go home he scratched at the bedroom door. Funny how he knows behind which closed door his Hamster Heaven is. He walked into his mug and knows that that's his taxi home.

He looks to be having a great time. They can smell their cage from quite a distance!

Scottie nearly fell out of his cage tonight!

I was late home from work because the fog was as thick as peasoup so the fresh food was a bit late as well.

Scottie was impatiently running up and down the front ramp, run onto the door when i opened it and nearly fell off it.

He realized that the food was going in while he was coming out and did a u turn.

Oh goodness I know that feeling! I am actually having second thoughts about whether a big front opening door is good with Robos lol! Mind you in my case it would be easier if the ramp wasn't right across the front door!

Scottie must have been so annoyed with his food being late! He is so funny. Luckily he did not actually fall out although I suspect he could be tempted back with sunflower seeds.

I know what you mean. I've decided to keep Rodney's retirement Hamster Heaven and put Bernard in it eventually, once he's grown a bit, if he grows. I hope he'll grow.

Now of course i wished i had kept the Mickey 2XL with the small bar spacing.

I doubt it. Once a Robo hits the floor, they leg it, fast.

I think now that Bernard will have a healthy diet he will grow.😀

Strangely, Pip didn't - but then he was probably quite surprised - he went under the cage unit and I managed to tempt him out from there. But yes usually they would leg it fast!

I have no idea of his age but hope good food will make a difference. I once had a foster Robo who didn't grow and stayed the size of a baby. He's very well cared for, very active, tame, full of personality and incredibly small. Here's a photo.

Well Pip was very small and Happy Hamsters thought he'd be ok in the Plaza (0.9mm) because he had never shown any interest in bar climbing or trying to get out before. So I took that on an individual basis. Maybe with Bernard you don't know how he is with bars though. How big actually is the gap between the bars on the Hamster Heaven? Is it actually 1cm or more like 9mm?

Ooh he is gorgeous! He does look very small. Pip was more small and narrow - Bernard looks round and small.
