Aw lucky Henry - so glad the cough has gone and the antibiotics worked!

Henry has been less active the past week, he's sleeping a lot but seems healthy otherwise. Maybe just age + recovering from his respiratory infection. He still likes adventures most days, some of them he just wants to say hi and hang out for a few minutes. Otherwise he still likes exploring, yesterday he was very interested in the kitchen. I made a mini grilled cheese again, and he loved it. He also sat down like a person and munched on some flax:

Hello Henry :-) It is certainly a lovely picture :-) You could maybe enter that in the photo competition! I hope he is doing ok now - he's a little trooper :-)
 
Thanks everyone, it's so good to see folks coming back onto the forum. Henry is moving at a slower speed since the vet trip, but still active. He voluntarily walked up to the syringe of metacam and took it the first time I offered it. I got it to keep on hand, the vet said he was in excellent health for his age..

Putting the NiteAngel back in ended up being a great move, it's much easier for him to get it going and keep it moving at his slower speed. He's way more active overnight on the camera, which is great to see. He still loves his forage board, his new favorite this week is the roller toy. I will have to share next time he plays, it's so easy to make. Tonight, we did some music together and he returned to his castle for his favorite treat:

Aw that is lovely! I'm afraid we can only link youtube videos now and it looks like the system stopped your link to another streaming site :-) I can't wait to see Henry's video though and his roller toy :)

You know what's funny Socks' Mum? He seems to just keep gaining confidence every day, he's become a very confident and assertive ham. But he does still show his love :love:
 
He's in great condition :-) Still has lovely thick fur by the look of it.
 
Henry has been a very sleepy ham the past few days. He's showing his age, but still seems healthy otherwise. He made a new sleep spot, can take a short walk from the cooling tile to this warm bed he built up.

I've been leaving him be more frequently, want him to stay as happy & healthy as possible. Still keeping his coat clean and getting around. He came out for a short adventure tonight, did a little lap but was mainly interested in giving me brushes and enjoying the niteangel hide.

I also took a pic of the roller toy, it's just a toilet paper tube with slots cut at different places in the middle to get at treats (he's by now torn this one open good). I stuff bedding inside to make it more of a puzzle. The ends I cut into several little strips, then you can fold them inward for another place to get at a treat.

He does indeed have two peanut jars to explore tonight. Only one had a treat, he got it :love:

Henry came out for a very short adventure today. Decided to show his love then go back! He also kept showing me the wheel, seems he wanted his old one back. Once I returned it he was pleased, then curled up in his new nap spot

He's amazing! He seems so active and well for his age. Maybe a slight waddle now but he seems a very happy ham :-) I always love watching Henry.
