Henry

Maz was right, Henry was thinking with his initial reaction on adventures. He is curious about me using the computer. I tried just using it as normal instead of sitting by his play area, he zoomed right over. I also hamster proofed the kitchen and he has been exploring it the past two days.

His eyes look tired, but he had a ton of zest on tonight's adventure. Great to see him moving around full speed and having fun exploring. And I can't let my little buddy leave without a snack!

Aw he looks like he's enjoying his snack and having a lovely time :-) Mine have also been fascinated with computers as well :ROFLMAO: They usually like to walk all over it - it's as if - well you're doing something on it so I want to check it out too. Newt used to do it a lot. And peer at the screen. Always made me a bit nervous in case he pee'd on it but he never did! And it was for a very short time.

They seem to be very interested in their human's "wheel". Next time I'm working from home I will let him write a message on it, see what he comes up with!

Henry didn't want to go into my room for once. He asked to go outside pretty hard, investigated the porch door and posed by it for 2 minutes. I wish I could let the brave little explorer out, but it's just never a good idea.

I made a peanut hunt and as much fun for him as I could. Got a few pictures, and a short video of him taking his breakfast into his main burrow.

His 2nd birthday is coming up soon, I need to do something special for him. He loves exploring the most, so I'm going to build & set up as much as I can think of for him. Clothes pile is obligatory. I'm happy to see he's very active and going full speed the last week. He is ready for winter to be over, suddenly has a lot of energy.

Full Cheeks!

It's lovely watching him disappear down the little tunnel he has dug! A very neat hole in the substrate :-) I do sometimes think they get more adventurous as they get older. It's as if they've lost a lot of fears and inhibitions and want to live life a bit.

Looking forward to his second birthday :-) It sounds like he'll have lots of fun - especially with clothes piles.

I had a bit of a scare this afternoon, found Henry asleep with his head on the edge of his water bowl. He seems okay, got very animated and asked for some free roam time. Finished last night's peanut hunt and he zoomed into my room for a visit: Early Riser

Naughty Henry giving you a scare like that with his water bowl. Maybe now he's older, it might be an idea to give him a bottle rather than a bowl perhaps?

He's having a lovely time there on that video :-)

I added a bottle before last year's vacation, and he wasn't able to figure it out, just a bowl for him.

Super videos of Henry, those little legs moving so quick are really cute. Great to see him active and enjoying his roam time. ☺️

Thanks Zara! I'm really happy to see him so energetic lately.

Right now he is all tuckered out, made himself a bed on his beloved cheese tile:
