This is really beautiful. I like the rim sounds and the tones going on in the base I like the percussive sounds blending in with the bell like sounds

Yes you can buy the tongue drums on Amazon, they are not expensive, I used to have one on my balcony it’s lovely when it rains on them.
You can play tunes on them, I played you are my sunshine my cat loved it.
You can play songs on the hand pan too, it just takes a lot of practice. The problem with mine it’s huge and I can’t get in between my knees I wanted to buy a smaller one 12 noted, but currently I had to spend a bit on my furry friend so I thought next month… it won’t run away.
It is so much fun, I never played anything else than a recorder at school so I was not very experienced. But I love to play, it’s a great pleasure in winter when the weather is dull outside.

Yes, I played recorder, but mostly self taught it is a nice little instrument but can be hard on neighbour relationships I suspect. I should find a group and give it another try.

I had that issue. Tried to learn a few times, but I have small hands, and some chords are so hard to achieve reaching, especially with a little finger. Didn't get very far

I looked for a private teacher before I bought one, he looked at my fingers and said, not ideal. Not only short they are chubby
Comes from all the hard work in the stable. I have got real farmer fingers

I have that on both arms too and carpal tunnel syndrome on both sides. They were supposed to be operated but I chickend out

Nibbles was up an hour earlier today i put a little wooden box in front of the door so it’s easier for him to climb in the taxi. Days ago he would have freaked out, today he sniffed it first but the urge to get out was bigger than his apprehension and he climbed on the box and was surprised how easy it was to get out! No more kicking his little back legs and struggling. He is so sweet
So his night sleep over in the pen didn’t bother him at all!
His nest is already stinky again, so the en-suite was most likely not accepted. I will check later and make his bed fresh.

I made my self a proper meal tonight a cowboy fry up, we used to eat this when we went to a rodeo. I just left the steak out and added broccoli
I am going to look like that stuff if I carry on eating it every day
The organic broccoli are currently on offer, and Nibbles only gets a tiny peace so I am forced to join in
