I’ve been out the last 3 evenings…it looks like Blossom used the opportunity to do some ‘housekeeping’

Interesting! Has she been moving things around again?

I’ve put the Christmas tree up today, so Blossom had a decent clean out, and has now moved to her seasonal location in the lounge on top of the piano to make way for the tree She did squeak at me, but only because she thought her tea was late, but she did in fact have her food at lunchtime today due to cleaning. She stopped squeaking when I pointed out the evidence in her wheel of a peanut which had been shelled and scoffed She did briefly notice the new location, but has settled down well and is absolutely fine lol. NB her cage, according to Miss B’s preferences, now only has deep bedding covering one third of the enclosure…the rest is bare floor

Oh yes! She tends to sweep all the stuff off her platform into the corner, and pile all the bedding up in the corner, now leaving two thirds of the cage floor completely bare!

I’m not sure if it’s the really dark mornings or what, but Blossom’s body clock seems to have gone a bit haywire. She’s been out a few times at breakfast time and at lunchtime in the last week or so. She was very busy this morning while I ate my breakfast…chucking bedding out of her cage and gnawing. She stopped for a moment behind her basket, and all I could see was her ears peeking over the top! It was a nice start to the day before work

Possibly…normally, she isn’t nearly as crazy now as she used to be. Most of the time now I don’t really notice if she’s in heat. She is generally much more settled.

I was at home today as I only work part time…Blossom was out pottering on her wheel at 10 am, then out again at 1.30 pm

Maybe she's waiting for more special Christmas treats

I want to guess it's due to the seasons, winter solstice is coming up in two days. My little Henry has been out odd times the past couple of days as well

Yes, maybe. Perhaps she'll go back to her usual routine when the days get longer.

All clean for Christmas We’ll see how long it lasts! It’s got to last her a few days over Christmas!!

Yup! I cleaned her out mid morning so this was breakfast. No doubt she will be squeaking at me later when it's time for tea! I wouldn't normally feed her twice in one day, but I might today just for a quiet life lol
