Crafts - what you do while waiting for your hamster to get out of bed πŸ˜‰

When the little fiddly. It’s get stuck to your fingers πŸ«£πŸ˜…
Yes, I (wisely I think) avoided super glue πŸ‘ I'm scared of doing things in the wrong order and not being able to get something in position cos something else is stuck in the way 😯

I have never dared use superglue for anything either! I'm a bit clumsy and would worry about sticking my fingers together. For hamster things, apart from school glue, the ponal glue is fantastic. You probably know about it being in Germany as it's a German product. It is virtually odourless and glues wood solid. I used to glue stilts onto hamster houses with it.

Ponal sounds great ❀️ Yes, I need something a bit stronger than the tacky glue as there is a door that keeps f a l l i n g o v e r πŸšͺ🫠 I held it in place but a lamp wire behind it might push it over if I adjust the wiring 🫀 Thank you for the recommendation πŸ₯°

It lasts for a long time as well. I've had a bottle for a few years and it seems fine. It's quite expensive to buy but worth every penny and lasts for ages. I don't really do hamster diy any more - my joints aren't up to it - but I used to create platforms out of old houses etc or glue legs on things and it works so well.

Thank you πŸ₯° It's a little sign that says "Open". There should be little pot plants and a railing on the upstairs balcony. The shiny right hand wall is a mirror (once the protective film has been peeled off). It's viewed from the front and is supposed to be book shaped. Then you put it on your book shelf and it's like a magical book with a tiny street scenes inside 🏑

That frog video is very creative, but far too much glue used for my liking. Even if pva glue is non toxic, the whole structure is glue based and a hamster could chew it. I have seen people make similar round things with just papier mache - ie just paper and water - no glue.

I don’t know if anyone has ever watched this YouTuber he has fantastic DIY vlogs.
I love watching him 😍

Yes, if you have a hammy with serious chewing tendencies it could be risky ❀️

Here's the book nook so far. I think I am quite slow but it's fun. It's quite addictive 🏑. There is a mirror on the right reflecting the structures which will also reflect the lights (if I can get the switch to work 🀞) πŸ‘·β€β™€οΈ

Oh I wish I could shrink and live in it πŸ˜… beautiful
Aw, thank you πŸ™β€οΈ When the little table is set up with the tea things on it, you are welcome to take a seat and have some tea and cake served by a friendly mouse β˜•πŸ«–πŸ°

It's coming on nicely, but I'm going to need to keep.my hard hat on for a while longer πŸ˜„ I'm enjoying it, it's done wonders for my executive skills as well as being great fun, but also quite difficult.
