It's under a corner shelf and i jammed a piece of cork between shelf and jar to make a little ledge. It makes it look like a sand cave and he steps on the cork piece from the shelf.
That wasn't my original plan but you know what hamsters are like. They have their own ideas and we have to adjust things to make it work for them.

Eddie has been in the hall playground before but today i let him loose in the hamster room. The hall is a playground but the hamster room is an adventure playground.

Oh yes, i let him out again and he's still out now. He was digging in the communal sand pit in a dark corner of the room but need to check where he is now.
Got a feeling he's munching from Lilly's hoard. Lilly was out earlier and fell asleep in the far corner under the helmet for a while. She keeps a hoard there as well.
This could be interesting.......

I don't really know. It's too early to say. Rory used to sit under this old helmet a lot and so did Edwina. It's a bit of a place to hang out like behind the bin in the bathroom. Lately, only Lilly used the helmet.
Clive hangs out in the sand pit where Eddie was today as well.

Lilly has been out since Eddie was but hasn't behaved any differently. She's a morning hamster though so i'll get a better idea tomorrow morning.

I hadn't seen Eddie since he's been out last. He's an afternoon hamster and i was at work yesterday and took someone to an appointment the day before.

Eddie's out now. After a while i picked him up to put him back in his cage but he wasn't having any of that and literally dug his paws in on my hand, lol.
