Good work, the Metacam should help to relax and soothe him. I hope Henry feels better soon. Thinking of you

Yeah, they gave him a local anesthesia. He's a smart little ham and resting up in his nook, his range of movement looked good when he was leaving the carrier though. That is good news. Poor Henry - did he need an anaesthetic? Good idea to still take him for the check up on Monday.
I know they took one to get a look at him as they asked for approval, but I wasn't in the room for the procedure. The only place I could find had a curbside service. Was a bit different than what I was used to.I hope it stays in place now! It's bound to be sore though. Did they have to do it under x ray to put it back, or just by feel?
Thank you very much! He is currently napping on the pumpkin seed I gave him for youOh, poor HenrySending healing hammy hugs

Thank you Steve!! I'm hopeful, he still has his appetite and personality in full.Poor little Henry, I hope he gets better soon
Thank you Socks' Mum! His main vet is absolutely stellar, and Henry seems to like her. His little nose really gets going when she holds him. It's adorableThat is amazing! You have such good vets where you are. Hamster vet care has certainly advanced in your area. Great that he is under such skillful care and under medication. Brave Henry, get better soon![]()
He came out right away when I called for medication time, and I failed at picking him up. I'm out of practice sadly, he was never a fan.Lots of treats for Henry until Monday
