She’s looking really good there, lovely to see her so active & enjoying herself.
I do the same with cages & like to keep a close eye on things at first.
Good idea to keep the vet appointment, even though she’s done so well it will be good to hear what the vet has to say.

I'm at work overnight and my OH told me that Lilly came running out of her hide when he put her fresh food in. She's really enjoying her food again.

It's lovely seeing her running around on that video She looks pretty much back to normal to me. Hope it goes well at the vets today.

Lilly was signed off by the vet after a check up. She has healed up really well and she was the perfect patient while in her hospital cage.
She's now settling into her new home which she has to make her own yet so i'm going to leave her to it.

One of the first things she did was to have a good roll around in the sandbath.

She's looking very well and active - glad she got the ok from the vet I like how she climbed off the shelf rather than going the easy way! She looks like she's enjoying exploring.

Lilly is moving about better this morning and her wound has healed well.

She could go in her new cage today but i'm working overnight so will wait until tomorrow.
I like to observe a hamster in a new cage as they have a habit of pointing out anything that doesn't work for them or some fall risk i've overlooked.
I'm also keeping the vet appointment. My regular vet is on holiday so it will be the other hamster vet and i'd like to hear what he has to say about Lilly's ailment.

Great to hear Lilly has been signed off and is doing well. She looks very happy to be back in her home, excitedly exploring the new layout

Glad to report that Lilly has resumed normal life. I heard her on her wheel and this morning she came out of the little house on the shelf. Lilly came to the front to her cage so i offered her taxi and she walked in. She's currently running around in the hamster room and seemed excited. I tried to scoop her up in my hands for a cuddle and she nipped me. She had other plans and came running with full pouches a while later looking for her taxi.
