Lilly was first one up and had the whole place to herself to run around and play.
After a quick circuit she climbed into a dig box to fill her pouches.

Yes, i also think that the girls hoard more than the boys. She keeps her hoard under the big shelf and doesn't seem to use this area for anything else. Maybe hoards don't hold tunnels.......

Lilly has never been a cuddly hamster but now and again she likes to sit on my hand as long as it is on her terms.
This morning she was hovering around my feet so i tried to scoop her up. Lilly immediately shook me off so i tried to stroke her instead. Lilly shook me off again and looked up at me with a "get off!" expression written allover her face.

Yesterday i let Lilly out on my lap instead of the floor and she went straight back into her taxi mug! "Wrong address, now take me to the right one".

This morning i said to Lilly "look, i have to go to Greggs now or the boys will have eaten all the omelette" while coaxing her into her taxi home. If anybody, Lilly should understand what i was on about after her third trip to the dig box with a snoozing under the helmet break inbetween.

Lilly has been busy with housework while i was at work. She cleaned her little house where she often sleeps and chucked her poops out.
All tidied away now and i hoovered the little shelf, put some fresh aspen down and toilet paper strips as well.
She loves that corner in her cage.
