Meet my robos

[Amy]

Got very upset over Bobby last night and couldn't sleep , worrying , but got him out this morning and we've had him in the playpen all day so we can keep an eye on him, and he's already out for getting for cuddles, and later , meds. Had a cuddle in my break from work this afternoon ( working at home this week ) and a quick wound clean, and he didn't wince or wriggle when I did it this time , so hoping he's feeling better

That sounds positive I hope he recovers with such loving care I bet he’s very happy. They do love attention. I am keeping my fingers crossed

I know it is hard - I got very upset about Tino recently and then he came round after medication. Today sounds quite positive.

So glad he came round Maz. I'll get Bobby out again after I done shopping. He's doing ok and going vets tomorrow. I just had a blip I think. Xx thanks for the reassuring

Just got back from vets. It's not good. The black is because he has been biting himself , but he can't tell why until it heals. It's got infected , so he's doubled his metacalm and he's to have it twice a day not once. He's given him tramadol twice a day and an antibiotic twice a day , and some cream once a day. So he's just had his meds and I put him back in playpen for now. He had lots of cuddles in vets and hes a big boy now , cos he's had his first shave. His wound looks awful.

I'm so sorry. Usually biting themselves means it's painful. They literally try and amputate the pain - it's an instinct. I hope the increased pain relief helps

Oh dear, I do feel sorry I hope the medications work and if the pain stops he will surly stop biting. My cat had a similar issue on the top of her leg it was awful. But as soon as the meds kicked in it healed really fast. I hope the same for little Bobby.
We never found out what it was with my cat, it just appeared out of nowhere and vanished again. I can’t upload the foto as it’s horrific. All paws and fingers are crossed here

Uh oh , got Pedro out today , found a lump on Pedro's back !! Vets booked. Also discovered on close inspection that he is a girl !!!!

Oh dear… it never rains it pours I hope he/she will be okay. You made me smile, closer inspection was not needed with Nibbles, when he’s cosy in bed his diamonds dangle around like Christmas baubles on a tree

Oh no. I hope "she" is ok! Amazing to find Pedro is a girl after all this time - will her name change to perdita now? It's a worry finding a lump. How old is pedro now?
