Thanks all for the well wishes for Bobby. The little #### chewed his way out of the playpen tonight. I went to get him out to put him to bed , and he was outside the playpen looking at me. Tried to coax him close so I could grab him and he ran into the bottom of the big floor speaker we have. Grabbed a hide , tube , wheel and mealworms and was trying to coax him out ! He kept coming forward then running to the back again , so I got the extendable back scratcher and put that in the speaker and wiggled it about, and he shot out straight into the tube. Covered both ends and he was caught. The little monkey. Have to get a chew proof playpen for him now. He's been in there twice a day while I'm getting him out for meds. No idea what his wounds are looking like today , and am using a gardening gloves to hold him while giving meds , then he can sink his teeth into that , and I don't get bitten ! Pedro's wound is healing up nicely so I do t think she needs cream anymore and have reopened her sand bath and soil bath. She was straight in the soil bath when I put her back.
It's a worry finding a lump. How old is pedro now?
Will change her lab block pot to a pink one instead of her blue one , and that will remind me she's a girl ! Lol. Maybe I should give my hamster unisex names from now on !!
